Why Duke Will Fall Tonight at Wake Forest

Tonight's game between Duke and Wake Forest will go down as follows. Wake goes up early, Duke makes a run and cuts the deficit, Wake makes their own run and wins by 8.
Wake just has to much talent and to much athleticism to not make a statement tonight against the number one ranked Blue Devils. Yea, they fell asleep in their last contest and lost to a mediocre at best Virginia Tech team. Shit happens. Now, everyone's watching, and last time the Deacons played a game with anywhere near this much publicity they smashed the Tarheels at UNC.

Its going to begin and end with Jeff Teague. Arguably the most talented player in the ACC, Teague will run circles around Nolan Smith and future Duke assistant coach Greg Paulus. He shoots over 50 percent from the outside and is amazing off the dribble drive. I guess Duke does have great help defense which should slow Teague down. That is until he decides to show off his passing ability. More bad news for whoever decides to leave there man to provide Smith or Paulus with help. The toughest part of tonight's game for Teague may be in deciding who to pass the ball to (Aminu 12.6 ppg, Johnson 13.6 ppg, McFarland 9.9 ppg).

On the other hand, Duke has something that Wake doesn't have. Coach K. He always seems to figure out a way to keep them in the game. Whether it is a well planned timeout to stop momentum or a defensive scheme change, you can always count on Duke to make a late game run. Unfortunately, with their considerable rebounding edge and Jeff Teague at the helm, Wake will just be too much for Coach K and the Dookies.
